Exam Skills

A successful result depends on good preparation and appropriate behaviour during the examination. Your learners should be reminded to:

stay calm and focussed
read the instructions slowly - at least twice
ask for clarification (if needed)
fill out personal details (as required)
select questions (if necessary)
divide the time among tasks
think about a good introduction and conclusion
sketch a rough outline of answers
adhere to the time allocations
attempt the necessary number of questions
write clearly, using simple language
